BEYOND VIRAL SUPPRESSION: EXPLORING GENDER DISPARITIES IN QUALITY OF LIFE AMONG PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV IN GOMBE, NIGERIA
HIV/AIDS remains a major public health challenge in sub-Saharan Africa, with Nigeria bearing a significant burden. Despite high ART retention rates in Gombe State, disparities in health-related quality of life (HRQoL) persist, particularly along gender lines. Socioeconomic vulnerabilities, stigma, and sociocultural factors continue to impact well-being. This study aims to assess gender differences in HRQoL among PLHIV in Gombe and identify key factors contributing to these disparities to inform targeted interventions.
